to the Internet operational community. Verisign is enabling IPv6 =
transport for its .com/.net Whois service (which also contains =
information for .edu, .arpa, and the root zone). =20
By March 31, 2012, Verisign will begin accepting queries to the =
aforementioned Whois service over IPv6 transport in addition to IPv4. =
Accordingly, DNS queries for the Whois server host names =
whois.verisign-grs.com, whois.verisign-grs.net, whois.crsnic.net, =
whois.nsiregistry.com, and whois.nsiregistry.net will return both A and =
AAAA records.
