IPv6 does not do ARP, it does ND. Even if you use DHCv6, you still need
ND. DAD is still performed on addresses assigned via DHCPv6.

ARP uses no multicast at all. However, ARP is an IPv4 protocol, not an
IPv6 protocol.

DHCPv6 uses multicast a lot - *every* client message is multicast. Relay
messages to servers are multicast by default (though it seems most
actual deployments configure the relays to use unicast).
