This is true of many, many aspects of IPv6.  And those of us who didn't get=
 involved in the process to try and address (pardon the pun, heh) those pro=
blems bear a burden of the responsibility for the current state of affairs.

So, it's very obvious that there's a lot of work to be done in order to mak=
e pure IPv6 viable for a non-isignificant proportion of the user base (incl=
uding spimes and such in that population).  Dual-stack is an appropriate tr=
ansitional mechanism to make some steps towards that goal in some circumsta=
nces, and so it shouldn't be summarily dismissed, that's all.
