well... here are the numbers (using LTO-5's)
you can do the math.
747-8 -- 308647 lb / 8130 km
747-8 -- 600 cubic meters
lto-5 -- 3.0 Tb
lto-5 -- 0.6 lb
lto-5 -- 11.3 x 2.79 x 11.1 cm
and althugh its not generally available, the LCF has 4x the load of the 747-4f
