Small correction - there is no annual fee in the first year ;-)

But I agree.. it is too much, and APNIC have been reviewing the Initial all=
ocation fee for a while now, but haven't made any move on it.

I'd like to see a new class of membership - 'Individual' which had a small =
allocation (well, in comparison) and had a cheaper membership level and was=
 not required to be multi-homed, but was portable - and a small, if any ini=
tial allocation fee.
