Some of these confidentiality/security paranoid companies have firewalls
that prevent employees from accessing off-company communication
services[1], to prevent employees from using those services to leak
confidential information. However, if you work at one of those
companies, and don't have the skills or means to bypass the firewall,
perhaps you should avoid posting to nanog from work for anything other
than to receive help from your fellow netops during emergencies.
