Thanks, actually I wasn't addressing the rr connects, no telling what
they are doing/not doing just from the .edu.

This doesn't appear to be DNS related. You can see from the trace that =20
the forward resolution is in fact occurring just fine.

It would appear that Comcast/RoadRunner filters SMTP in your market (A =20
quick Google search indicates that this has been happening in various =20
places since at least 2004). Do you still have issues if you try using =20
their SMTP servers?
