Hmmm...given that I'm in a similar situation as the original poster, I
wonder if this would be a feasible strategy to investigate.

Since our ISP's transit providers already carry our traffic anyway, one
has to wonder if they would be up to multi-hop peering directly to me
instead.

If this is being done, would anyone care to share any pricing for the
initial turn-up?
