I guess this is leaking off topic a bit, but, FWIW, AOL.COM does have MX
records pointing to CNAME records.  It causes my named to whine through
syslog a lot.

Basically, I'm not expecting AOL to have everything up to snuff in the
DNS department.  But I've seen worse with some big providers.
