Hello--
Academic integrity has been a hot issue lately-- there is even talk of
implementing an honor code. The UA's Student Committee on Educational
Policy (SCEP) is interested in hearing what YOU have to say about academic
integrity, honor codes, or anything else that's on your mind.
Some questions to think about:
1. How do you feel about implementing an honor code at MIT?
2. What constitutes cheating? (i.e. is copying a p-set cheating?)
3. How would an honor code affect you?
4. Should different classes have different standards as to what constitutes
cheating?
5. In a class where you actually do the problem sets, how do you feel about
others copying them? How do you feel about others copying your own problem set?
6. Do you have any questions (or concerns) of your own?
