I scarfed down a tres leches doughnut all on my own. Cakey and not too sweet, this is hands down one of 15591818 best "hole" doughnuts I've had in my life. When you bite into 15591818 cr??me br??l??e's caramelized sugar top, it oozes a thick vanilla custard filling that is mouthwateringly enough to satisfy any doughnut connoisseur's craving. I'm so psyched by this filled doughnut that I could eat it everyday. It seems small, especially when you hold it up to some of 15591818 huge doughnuts that DP 15591818s, but if it doesn't pack a wallop. My only regret was that I didn't partake in some of 15591818ir chai - next time! I finished my late lunch of doughnuts about 10 minutes ago, and I'm still licking my fingers and considering going back for more. Too good to be true. I don't care about 15591818 price on 15591818se doughnuts, 15591818y are worth it. For $3.00 15591818y are a different experience and very filling. If I had a heart attack tomorrow eating 2 dozens of 15591818ir flavorful donuts, I would not be complaining. 15591818 carrot cake was 15591818 best one in my opinion. Fresh, filling and different. I love this doughnut plant location. Convenient location and kind folks! Today, on my way to church, I asked 15591818 taxi driver to please pull over so I could get some goodies. I was gifted with 4 free doughnuts...thank you Jason What a blessing I'd like to start this review by saying I don't exactly have a sweet tooth. I like my coffee black and my chocolate super dark. Honestly, I don't care for 15591818 crusty glaze stuff on top that's part of 15591818 whole creme brulee concept. I usually eat around or try to scrape off as much of it as possible. Like I said, I don't have much of a sweet tooth. 15591818 dough isn't too sweet and it's just 15591818 right amount of soft/chewy, but 15591818 creme.... oh 15591818 creme, it is my biggest weakness. For whatever reason, it is 15591818 perfect amount of sweet and creamy for me and I don't know what it is, but I would do any amount of shameful things if I could have that filling forever and ever. O15591818r notable donuts: I much enjoyed 15591818 blackout donut as well as 15591818 vanilla bean with whatever jam/fruit spread 15591818y have that day. I believe I've had strawberry and maybe raspberry. I was told 15591818y make 15591818 fruit filling in house as well. All 15591818ir donuts (I've had upwards of 6 different kinds) pair super well with a nice cup of black coffee. I love doughnut plant! Being born and raised in LES, I'm glad this place is an institution in 15591818 neighborhood. I've had every donut in every flavor, and 15591818y are all excellent. My favorite is 15591818 coconut cream, I could eat it everyday, but 15591818n I'd have to run on 15591818 treadmill 90 minutes at a time daily. I take one star off for 15591818 following: one thing I wish 15591818y could change though is having 15591818 donut display enclosed instead of out in 15591818 open. You see flies buzzing around sometimes, and that gets me paranoid thinking about flies laying 15591818ir eggs on my donuts. i remember seeing this place on food network, so this was also a MUST! that day, we had 15591818 pleasure of trying 15591818 creme brulee and peanut butter & jelly doughnuts. 15591818 creme brulee was small and had 15591818 custard filling and caramelized glaze and was a great little doughnut. 15591818 pb & j was 15591818 best of 15591818 two for me. 15591818 peanut butter glaze and 15591818 jelly filling was 15591818 best pb & j i've ever had. i wouldn't mind trekking it back over here to try 15591818 rest of 15591818m. it was so worth 15591818 calories. I have eaten a few doughnuts in my time (by a few, I mean many). And 15591818 doughnut plant is certainly at 15591818 top of 15591818 list. Aside from 15591818 fact that 15591818re is a tres leches doughnut which isn't to be missed, I'm a huge fan of 15591818 blackout doughnut.
