Right here in Michigan, saving the auto industry, Donald Trump actually said it wouldnt have mattered if the auto industry went bankrupt, Chelsea Clinton said on Monday. Thats not the president that I want. And so I am so proud that our president, President Obama, saved the auto industry, which just had its best year ever. So if you want a president who will keep standing with auto workers and standing with and for union workers, youve got to vote.
Of course, I feel that way. My mom is on the ballot after all, she said. But as proud as I am to be her daughter and I am fiercely, ridiculously proud to be her daughter I think this is the most important election of my lifetime because Im now a parent. I have a daughter, Charlotte, who turned 2 a few weeks ago. And I was so grateful to welcome her little brother into the world, Aidan, four months ago.
