This article is about the risk management method. For insurance in blackjack, see Blackjack.
An advertising poster for an insurance company from ca. 1900-1918 depicts an armoured knight.

It is a form of risk management primarily used to hedge against the risk of a contingent, uncertain loss. An insurer, or insurance carrier (often called an "insurance company), is sells the insurance policy to customers. The customers, who are called the insured or policyholder, are the person or entity (which may be a private company or other organization) buying the insurance policy. The amount of money to the customer pays for a certain amount of insurance coverage is called the "premium". Risk management, the practice of appraising and controlling risk, has evolved as a discrete field of study and practice. The transaction involves the insured making a payment to the insurer in exchange for the insurer's promise to compensate (indemnity) the insured in the case of a financial (personal) loss. The insured receives a contract, called the insurance policy, which details the conditions and circumstances under which the insured will be financially compensated. In the event that the insured experiences a financial or personal loss which is covered by the insurance policy, the insured makes an insurance claim to the insurer. Insurance company claims adjusters and other insurance company employees assess the claim. Insurance policies The exact definition of "startup" is widely debated, however at their core most definitions are similar to what the U.S. Small Business Administration describes as a "business that is typically technology oriented and has high growth potential"One popular definition by Steve Blank and Bob Dorf defines a startup as an "organization formed to search for a repeatable and scalable business model.". In this case "search" is intended to differentiate established late-stage startups from small businesses, such as a restaurant operating in a mature market. The latter implements a well-known existing business strategy whereas a startup explores an unknown or innovative business model in order to disrupt existing markets, as in the case of Amazon, Uber or Google. Blank and Dorf add that startups are not smaller versions of larger companies: a startup is a temporary organization designed to search for a product/market fit and a business model, while in contrast, a large company is a permanent organization that has already achieved a product/market fit and is designed to execute a well-defined, fully validated, well-tested, proven, verified, stable, clear, unambiguous, repeatable and scalable business model. Blank and Dorf further say that a startup essentially goes from failure to failure in an effort to learn from each failure and discover what does not work in the process of searching for a repeatable, high growth business model.Paul Graham says that "A startup is a company designed to grow fast. Being newly founded does not in itself make a company a startup. Nor is it necessary for a startup to work on technology, or take venture funding, or have some sort of "exit". The only essential thing is growth. Everything else we associate with startups follows from growth." Graham added that an entrepreneur starting a startup is committing to solve a harder type of problem than ordinary businesses do. "You're committing to search for one of the rare ideas that generates rapid growth or brick and stone veneers. Most replacement windows are manufactured without this fin so that they can be installed with minimal disruption to the existing trim, siding, sheetrock or exterior veneer.

From helicopters to Airbus 380s, VirtualPilot3d gives you the opportunity to experience a huge number of aircraft first hand. There are over 200+ different aircraft to fly. No other flight sim in the market comes close to offering this amount! Unlike a pilot in real life... you have a massive choice, which means that you can experience flying more models then your real life counterpart could ever hope to ... Truly test your flight skills by flying all different types of planes &ndash; feel how &ldquo;heavy&rdquo; a Boeing 737 feels compared to a Cessna! Based on the state-of-the-art realistic flight modelling system, VirtualPilot3D&trade; has actual controls of the cockpit, high fidelity sound and visuals which deliver a total immersion experience!Every single cockpit and the instruments contained in them are 100% accurate... They are 100% based on the real cockpits of the real life plane models... When you get into the cockpit, you will see that the panels and controls are what you will find in a real aircraft. The simulator is built to mimic &quot;real flying&quot; ... to give you the real experience of how it would feel to fly a real plane. What&#39;s more, every single aircraft has an interactive built-in tutorial system to guide you through the flight control panels - so you&#39;ll be up and running with any unfamiliar aircraft quickly.<br />
