This is for the restaurant -- I haven't eaten at the truck.....I have eaten lunch here about 40 times. I haven't explored the menu much because the tacos are... The burger was well cooked and the toppings were fresh. The bun was actually tasty and fresh. The fries were crisp. The black bean queso was on point and... I've been coming to El Patron for years with my mom and I love it. Granted, it's not the most authentic Mexican food you can find... but this is south... We visited Culver to watch a Lacrosse game at Culver. We planned our visit to include local place for pregame. 5 stars is seldom given, but his one is solid... First, Brass Rail is smoke free. .... I thought this place was great. We were on a road trip for my husbands birthday/end of summer trip. We had dinner here... This is a very authentic feeling Mexican restaurant with large proportions' for the meal. Excellent! The service was quick and attentive, nice bar as well. Who would've thought there would be a place that has amazing craft beer and a crazy amount of vegetarian / vegan options in South Bend? (Not me, till after... A really unique place in South Bend! I have been here on a date, with a few others, and with a big group; each time was a great experience. The servers are... Although the it is one of the most expensive restaurants in town, my wife and I find ourselves here every few years for our wedding anniversary. Always... Finally I made it. This was the first place that was recommended to us in South Bend. After three short weeks in town, I can honestly say it's the best food... This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it! We stared with the bruschetta and it was the best we've had in such a long time. The entries were... Slow food movement.
