One important factor to consider in ensuring that dining in particular goes
through in a way favored by students (ie to ensure that the recommendations
of the CDRB are implemented) is to maintain some amount of student pressure
and interest in the issue.
As we already do have their attention, I don't think we should do something
quite as drastic as shutting down Athena. Rather, allow me to comment of
some of maitland's comments:

One concern is with incurring large financial fines for failure to
pay. Furthermore, for graduating seniors, an outstanding charge on their

Trouble is that the most sympathetic alums are already angry over things
like FoC and may not be donating much anyways. Besides which, most of that
money would have gone to improving things around campus which would be
harder with less money. It also wouldn't make the current administration
look terribly unfavorable to their bosses (the corporation) unless it was
done in a very large scale.

Ok in this case the Administration particularly doesn't want to lose face
to prospective students.

Hmmm, except I don't see this scaring administrators much, unless again it
is done at a much larger level than has ever been done before.

If either of those are done, then folks should document how many
alums/frosh were talked to and how much money has been lost in donations.
