It's interesting to point out that her article sounded a lot (a WHOLE lot, I
thought at first it was the same one) like an article I read in some big
magazine a couple months back... Shit, I wish I could remember what magazine
that was... Not the economist... I read the article while waiting at MIT
medical. It was a lot longer, but basically said all the same things about the
generations.
I get the feeling that she read that article too, and decided "Oh, look, this
proves that we should take care of them!" without the thought ever crossing
her mind once that MIT students may be different from the norm.
What would be really freaking funny is if we could get her on plagiarism. :)
I'll try and find the original article...
If you can think of the names of any magazines you've seen in the med center
waiting rooms (I think it was the gynecology waiting room), especially ones
prone to very long-winded articles, let me know.
