Forever.  But I think that every single 17/18-year-old has a rebel
buried in them waiting for a chance to strike, and the MIT
administration goes out of its way to set those chances up early and
often.

So sure, they don't admit "students like you any more" -- they
*create* them from the pansies they do admit.
