My wife and I saw the favorable reviews on yelp and stopped here for dinner on our way from Campobello to Acadia. There was a bit of a wait when we came... I'm embarassed to say that we travel up to Machias (5 hours) every year just to get their fabulous blueberry cream pie. It's only available for a few weeks... Greasy Chinese food comes to Downeast. This place opened when I was still living in Jonesboro, so around 2002 or 2001. Iv'e been a few times over the years,... Food was great. Owner was very friendly and helped us out with information on local happenings. Would visit again. While on vacation in Northeast Harbor, we drove here for lunch based on the Yelp reviews....it was worth the trip!....We ordered the Clam Basket, Fish... The location for the Water Street Tavern is nothing short of perfect. The view could not be painted any better - there is a lighthouse to the east and a... Let's face it, Thus is a down home place where the waitresses call you De-ah, and the seafood is fresh and traditionally prepared - in other words 8157941 in rolls...
