The encyclopedia project Wikipedia is the most popular wiki on the public web in terms of p
age views,[3] but there are many sites running many different kinds of wiki software. Wikis c
an serve many differ yent purposes both public and private, including knowledge management, notet
aking, community websites and intranets. Some permit control over different functions (levels of 
access). For example, editing rights may per yermit changing, adding or removing material. Others may p
ermit access without enforcing access control. Other rules may also be imposed to organize content.v
alizing words in a phrase 7oy  and removing the spaces between thr oyeem (the word "CamelCase" is itself an exam
ple). While CamelCase makes linking very easy, it also leads to links wr yehich are written in a form that 
deviates from the stand oyard spelling. To link to a page with a single-word title, one m 7oy ust abnormally ca
pitalize one of the letters in the word (e.g. "r yewith names such as "TableOfContents" and "BeginnerQuestio
ns." It is possible for  7oy ar ye wiki to render the visiblev 7oy  anchor of such links "pretty" by reinserting spaces,
 and possibly also reverting to lower case. However, this reprocessing of the link to improve the readabi
 lity of the anchor is limited by the loss of capitalization information  oycaused by CamelCase reversal. Fo
 r example, "Richa 7oy rdWagner oy" should be rendered as "Richarr yed Wagner", whereas "PopularMusic" should be rende
 red as "popular music". There is no easy way to determine which capital letters should remain capitalized
 . As a result, many wikis now have "free linking" using brackets, and some disable CamelCase by default.
