The pork tenderloin sandwich was definitely memorable. Delicious! I was dubious at first but there's reason why it's so popular. ....Everything else was great... We decided to stop at this place on our way back from a float trip down the Niangua. We were slightly nervous about trying a random BBQ joint on the side... On the random chance you're passing through this ridiculously small town, this place is a little gem. We got the special, a full rack of baby back ribs to... The Hickory House has been around a long, long time. It still looks like the old road house it once was and is clearly divided between 'the bar' and 'the... We had Cajun fish sandwiches with garlic fries. They were very good and made fresh. Owner and waitress were very attentive. We will be back! Not sure what to say about this place. The food is good. I would put it in the dive category, but not in a bad way. It seems to be a place a family... Great food and great people. They have a buffet now and there chicken is the bomb and the hamburgers well they speak for themselves..Never leave there... Ate there on a Sunday afternoon after a family day at the nearby Boy Scout Camp. Their pie selection was only two. We ordered one piece for our daughter and... I was kind of sort of in the area on business (ok... in the state) and this place was recommended to me by some people at the office I was working at. ..They... We ordered the bacon cheese burger and a cup of duck chowder. The bun was fresh. The bacon was thick with a smokey flavor. The patty had a grilled... What an excellent restaurant, in every single aspect. Very warm and homey atmosphere, salad and bread came quickly and the bread definitely tasted home... Surprisingly good pizza. We ordered carry-out after an evening of beers at the lodge. The pizza was loaded with toppings and an impressive red sauce, atop... Up on the North Shore, your dining choices become limited. For foodies, this is akin to a nightmare come true. For everyone else, just be cool and lower... I had a pretty good timing hanging out at Papa Charlies for an evening. It's really more bar than music venue but does a good job of doubling as a concert... We stumbled onto this place while staying in nearby Tofte and searching on Yelp for local places to eat. We read the reviews and know that a good burger is... We enjoyed an exceptional meal at the Lakeside Restaurant at Lutsen last night.
