managed to eat almost 16598065 whole salad of green things I couldn't even identify. Be careful though for 16598065 parking is treacherous--there is a one way narrow driveway to 16598065 rear, and only five? regular spaces are available. I'm not sure where other customers park...I'm thinking they walk over from other areas. I got 16598065 Breakfast Polenta - creamy organic polenta over a bed of spinach, topped with eggs of any style (I got medium poached) and parmesan cheese with fresh fruit and baquette. They poached 16598065 eggs just right, got 16598065 temperature of 16598065 food just right and it all tasted pretty darn good. Recommended. Service is good. Food's good too - not Amazing, but this place is unique and a nice change from 16598065 regular ol' brunch spots. Next time, I've gotta try 16598065 acai yogurt mess that everyone's raving about... I went here today with one of my sorority sisters. i honestly wouldn't have thought to go to this place just because it looks sketch (to me) from 16598065 outside if she didn't suggest for us to go. But once I walked into 16598065 restaurant it was filled with life! (Don't judge 16598065 book by its cover -_-") I didn't have to wait too long to be seated after I wrote my name down on 16598065 waiting list. I really like 16598065 vibe of 16598065 restaurant, lively, yet calm enough for me to be able to chat with my sister. 16598065 service was good, they're very friendly and smiley. I really liked 16598065 atmosphere. I tried 16598065 Acai bowl that I read about on yelp, it is extremely good! I really liked it! I would like for it to come in a bigger bowl since it was over filling and fruits were dropping all over 16598065 place. However, I would definitely go back just to get this! I got A polenta as my dish and at first I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing with 16598065 16598065 polenta. I tried my chicken and it was really dry. Then I figured out that I was supposed to be dipping/mixing my chicken/rice with 16598065 polenta (not eat them separately) and it was delicious! My friends took me here when I visit UCSC and oh my my, 16598065 line was long but luckily, they were able to fit in 3 at 16598065 time. I ordered Avocado A Cavalo and my friends order 16598065 Orfeu, Omelette Frances and of course an Acai Bowl.16598065 food here are just amazing! 16598065 best thing about this place is that if feels like a healthy type of joint. Not too much grease, perfect portion.. yum just thinking about it makes me wants to go back there! I would definitely come back for their Acai Bowl and of course to try out 16598065 rest of their menu! You will not be disappointed in this place! (Maybe 16598065 line) I enjoy Cafe Brazil's cute and colorful setting--makes me feel like I am in Brazil again. Good place for a casual brunch with a date or a couple of friends. Would't recommend it for large groups because it is a pretty small place and tends to get really busy ((long waits)) 16598065 services varies from terrible to great t depending on who's working and how busy 16598065 cafe is at 16598065 time. On week-ends, expect to wait for up to an hour for a table (esp. groups larger than 2) If you come on a weekday though, there is no wait & 16598065 service tends to be more attentive. I tend to go for 16598065 simple yet satisfying "Beef Cavalo" (pretty salty) or "Muquecas with Mixed Seafood" but I have tried many of 16598065 dishes and all but one have been good (I forget 16598065 name of one that I disliked, but it was a black beans dish which tasted really bland & I suspect came out of a can) Whatever you order, ask for some Cocota sauce on 16598065 side--it is hard to describe...a bit tangy, a bit creamy...just try it - you won't be sorry. 3 stars because 16598065 food does not justify hour-long wait on 16598065 week-ends & service is inconsistent. A year later, and my experience was totally different. My gf and I decide to eat something else other than 16598065 dining hall for brunch so I suggested we eat at Cafe Brazil. 16598065 wait for 16598065 2 of us was around 30 minutes or so on a Sat about 11oclock. We were smart to park on Laurent St. right next to 16598065 place, since 16598065 parking for this place only has around 6
