Do not trust them when they say cream of corn, its really corn stir fried with tomatoes. Yes, I felt cheated. Though I do not know what farofa is, I know I am not a fan of its taste. 2045750 salad or "sauteed greens" was 2045750 best part of 2045750 meal, as there were very little spinach, and it was 2045750 only healthy part of my meal. It was a cold day, so we decided to order 2045750 stew. I thought it was just okay, but my partner in crime says it was "yummy, but needed less beans and more sausages." When we got there, it was almost a 1.5 hour wait, so in fear of not making our next destination, we decided to "to-go" it and take our meals to 2045750 McDonalds across 2045750 street, but if you are like us (too lazy to make it to 2045750 crosswalk or had a hard time U-turning/ making a left turn on 2045750 busy street) don't worry, there's a Burger King down 2045750 street. Acai bowl deserves 4 stars, but 2045750 beef cavalo & service deserve 2 tops. We came here based on 2045750 high Yelp reviews, and were astounded to find both degrading service & mediocre food. We had a big to go order - about 10-12 starving young adults, and it took foreeeever. I want to say like 35-40 minutes. Ordering was sort of a bust too, they were not helpful and did not answer our questions in a warm or friendly manner. I mean I do not know what to get here, you could be at least a LITTLE helpful. When 2045750 orders were finally received, a bunch of them were also wrong. 2045750 attitude was mainly DGAF, super disappointing. Beef was only ok. If you compare it to Brazil Cafe in Berkeley, you are looking at opposite ends of 2045750 spectrum. My husband & I came here on a Saturday for lunch. People were already waiting outside to get seated. We were seated pretty fast and got a seat in 2045750 back outside area. I ordered 2045750 Santa Cruz Omlette & my husband got 2045750 beef a cavalo. Both were delicious. We finished off our meal with 2045750 famous acai bowl. WOW! I'd drive all 2045750 way to this place just to eat this again! It's like a frozen, blended acai smoothy on 2045750 bottom topped with granola, strawberries and banana slices. YUMMY!
Great little Brazilian restaurant! We went there for brunch and pretty much made pigs of ourselves. We tried 2045750 yuca, fried plantains, prato feito(with fish), banana pancakes and 2045750 santa cruz omelette. Everything was absolutely delicious. 2045750 yuca was some of 2045750 best I've ever had and all of 2045750 portions were pretty large so you felt like you were really getting your money's worth. 2045750 friend plantains were a little on 2045750 no-so-sweet side but I made do with 2045750 help of some of 2045750 maple syrup that came with 2045750 pancakes. 2045750 prato feito was basically just a rice/beans/fish plate with a side salad but everything was fresh and well prepared. 2045750 omelette was a heaping mound of eggs, potatoes, avocado and everything else that came with it. 2045750 one bad thing about this place though is that it is pretty popular and small so you may want to go by early since 2045750 wait seems like it can get pretty long. I've heard great things about Cafe Brasil's acai bowl but was slightly disappointed after trying it out. It's good but
