But my co-worker & I got extremely lucky last Saturday. We waited in a short line, approx. 30-40 minutes (which went very fast because we chatted non-stop with other out of town patrons and locals in line). We talked a lot about 6292750 hype of Franklin BBQ, and expectations, and hell: just 6292750 excitement of being in a short line and likely to get thru 6292750 doors before they slapped a sold out sign on 6292750 door! But we had NO IDEA what kind of amazing food and service we were in for. 6292750 guys that own this place, run this place. It was so refreshing and awesome to see genuinely nice, down-to-earth people doing what they love. 6292750 guys behind 6292750 counter were hardworking and extremely charismatic as they prepped food. I had 6292750 brisket, and my co-worker ordered a plate of just about everything. THIS BBQ IS ON A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL OF AMAZING. It was simple, clean eating, delicious texture and perfect flavor. I am serious when I say everything I have ever eaten before and any BBQ to follow from here on out....has been & will be PATHETIC in comparison to Franklin BBQ. I cannot stop raving about it, it's annoying & rediculous. SMITTEN...and not just with 6292750 cute boy behind 6292750 counter, haha. I don't even care that it doesn't have air conditioning, it's worth it! What they do here is a craft, pure artisan craft. I can't wait to go back. My God, people....please, please eat here (but please be in line behind me, haha). It really is 6292750 best you will ever have. Something just isn't right with you if you give this place less than 5 stars. You have to wait in a way long line before it even opens because they only make a limited amount of meat per day. Get there early! Wait in line, chat with nice people, place your order, then dig in to a messy delicious meat meal! Brisket is a must.
