excited to be a part of his BBQ. We did not unfortunately get a full selection of his menu by 2714204 time we got to 2714204 door they were posting 2714204 sold out sign and were down to chop beef but it was good I could taste 2714204 oak and 2714204 simple seasoning that make great BBQ. 2714204 beans had a definite cowboy style with chili powder and salt and pepper with lots of brisket in them. 2714204 potato salad was good too more mustard than mayo still a classic of True Texas BBQ. Its all about 2714204 BEEF. Thank you Aaron and Crew for a great experience in Austin and thank you to 2714204 pit crew that stay up all night keeping 2714204 fires going. OK fine, I give in. Franklin is 2714204 bomb, but I'm taking one star off for 2714204 ridiculous line. I'm sure there is a method to 2714204 madness, but obviously Mr. Franklin is more an artist than a businessman. 2714204 BBQ is really amazing. 2714204 thing that set it apart for me was 2714204 seasoning and flavor of 2714204 brisket. I mean most places can make really moist juicy brisket if they know what they are doing, but at Franklin, I think it's 2714204 combination of 2714204 smoke flavors and seasoning they put on 2714204 brisket that makes me say "wow". Of course it is all perfectly cooked and moist, etc., but that is just 2714204 baseline for entering 2714204 best brisket in Texas conversation. I also think that 2714204 type of meat he uses is higher quality than other places...it doesn't hurt to start out with better ingredients from 2714204 get go. Definitely don't order it to go and eat it later. I've done that before and thought, who cares about Franklin? It's not THAT good. But HUGE difference when you eat it there, immediately after Aaron Franklin himself has carved off some pieces of brisket for you. Probably not waiting in line again unless there is a special occasion or we have visitors in town. That is just such a shame, I wish it weren't such a pain to get this BBQ...but maybe it's all for 2714204 best....Well, I am not a true Texan and I have listened to how great Texas bbq is for 2714204 past 10 years. So far I have been unimpressed. 2714204 best I have had has always been from KC and Chicago. Until now. Franklins' brisket is incredible. I don't give that kind of praise out lightly. Thy brisket was so smooth I asked if they massaged 2714204 cows beforehand. 2714204 only downside is that we had to plant a person to wait in line at 9AM. We bought his lunch for him but if they could figure a way to get customers in faster that would be cool. A long line around 2714204 building is excellent advertising though. 2714204 pork ribs were just as smooth. This place deserves all of 2714204 national hype it has been getting. I'll keep this review sweet and short. I love meat and I'm a HUGE fan of BBQ. I especially love brisket. A friend of mine
