I had the Sauerbraten it was very good. Personally I like a larger portion of meat :) .....I'll be back to try the Schweinebraten. The meal I had here with my wife yesterday may be the best I've ever had in a restaurant. ....The lady ordered the a.m. Fog mushroom fettuccine and I... Service was excellent, had the duck and fried green tomatoes and both were top notch cooked to perfection. .. ..Salad dressing was best I've had and the price... Fish tacos + beer = yum.....Personal sized pizza = enough for two with a salad or one really hungry person. Pro Tip: ask for them to cut it in 6ths or 8ths,... I took my staff here when we were in town on business and it was wonderful. A great selection of very good food and very reasonably priced. Will be back... Oh \"BG's 2\". Order the salmon salad with medium rare salmon and you'll be happy.....Beers come out very cold and very quickly.....The Soup + Mel lunch special is a steal.... The boyfriend and I dined here for Valentine's Day before we went to see a play at the Blackfriars Playhouse. We were in a rush because we only had an hour... Excellent food. Vegan friendly with good size portions. Food was very tasty and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Hubby wanted to add ground beef... Went here to try out the food- Pizza and wings were good, not amazing, but good!....I'd take my family back there! Good ribs and steaks; steaks large and cooked just as ordered, ribs succulent. Side dishes a bit bland, but fresh tasting. Service quick, but somewhat... I personally am in love with this restaurant they have amazing food and their pies are amazing the service received is incredible as well...maybe that's... If I drive between Estherville and Ames on US 169, the Tom Thumb Drive Inn is a logical stop to enjoy a bite and otherwise take a welcome break. This place... Great unexpected lunch in Ft Dodge, Iowa! Gorgeous fall view and super friendly and attentive staff. Gourmet grilled cheese with Brie, Apple and bacon did... Took an hour to get my original order. Then I called to get my correct order and am still waiting for 1.5 hours later.. We have been going here for years and are always pleased with the service. The building is new from jus a few years back and is always very clean. Whether... This place was very nice. Compared to a Granite City minus the onsite brewing...They did serve a wide variety of beers, mixed drinks and alcoholic ice cream... Not good. I mean, it is the Midwest, and I know they don't have very much ethnic food here, so I gave it an additional star for fairness, but.......We walked...
