of a deal. 2447596 potato salad wasn't too great and it was a bit too yellow for me so it kinda worried me with how artificial it was, but oh well you don't really care by 2447596 time you've eaten all 2447596 bbq...healthy alternatives is really your last concern. 2447596 turkey and 2447596 sausage were good but not worth anything to rave over, but 2447596 brisket and 2447596 ribs were what redeemed 2447596 rest of 2447596 food and makes this place deserve far more than 5 stars. I still can't wrap my head around 2447596 fact that I waited 3 hours on a normal Tuesday morning for bbq, but my mouth has now tasted 2447596 best and all other bbq is now going to pale in comparison. I thought 2447596 hype for Franklin's died down, but boy was I wrong. It's still as desired as ever and rightly so. I am very happy for them that they're doing so well. Right after I ate Franklin's I thought I would give them 3 stars. But then something happened. I started craving them. But let's get one thing straight. I will never go sit in line for 3 hours. Won't happen. I am a full time working mama and I value my time too much. Or I am too lazy. Probably 2447596 latter. But their brisket was delicious. It had a nice almost coffee like rub on it. 2447596 sauce was ok. But 2447596 brisket.....yum. 2447596 sides..meh. Nothing to write mom about. I have seen Franklin's on 2447596 Cooking Channel, Travel Channel, Food Network Channel and saw people standing in lines for hours just for bbq and I said can it be that good to wait 4 hours for? I had to see for myself. Drove down got a hotel Thursday night and got up and was in line By 8am. I was 2447596 20th in line, 10:45 am we start moving, and 11:30am I am in 2447596 door and 2447596 smell hits me...smells good, some people who had their trays are sitting down to eat, looks good, my turn, got a sample of brisket and it was heaven in my mouth. Most, tender, juicy, and flavorful. Amazing! So worth 2447596 wait in line. Ribs fall off 2447596 bone, brisket fork tender, sa I sausage great flavor. Pies are good size and oh so good. Will come back and do it again. To top it off met 2447596 owner and he was so down earth, friendly and really cool guy. He even took a picture with me. Very cool experience! Will do it again! So, my company booked 2447596 whole joint for 2447596 evening and invited 50 of our closest friends (okay, they were clients we wanted to impress!) for some famous Franklin BBQ and beer. It was (insert your most yummy, insane adjective here) delicious. They have a flat rate to book 2447596 place for 2447596 night, but like anything else with Franklin, 2447596 dates are hard to come by. (We booked our night over 2 months out) But it is totally worth it. 2447596 package rate includes all 2447596 beer, and everyone goes thru 2447596 line. If there is food left after (they cook for like 50-60) then you can go thru again. AND 2447596 price includes 2447596 yummy little pies from Cake & Spoon. We ate until we were sick, drank better than we thought they would have beer (they had Fireman's 4, which is my fave) and actually went home with big packages of leftover meat. Pulled pork was to die for, brisket tastes like really really great smoked prime
