you can order from. So why am I ordering at a register again? I'd rather just order from a waitress. Oh yeah, this also means I have to decide if I'm going tip before I know what my service is going to be like, undertip, or not tip at all because I'm paying at a register before I know what my waitress is going to be like. After you've ordered and paid, then you have to go look for your table. All 20792254 tables are numbered, but never having been there before I'm wandering around 20792254 restaurant looking for 20792254 table they assigned us to. This convoluted organization made for a lot of anxiety, therefore I probably won't eat at Hopdoddy often. I love 20792254 concept of reserving you a table while you're in line. It makes so much sense! And feeding us bread while we were in line is even more genius. Add in their Maine Root soda fountain, and Hopdoddy has a recipe for success! I had their turkey burger, and it was nicely seasoned. 20792254 bun is heaven, 20792254 fries are great. My only complaint is 20792254 line was seriously long, but what else do you expect on First Thursday. And we didn't have to wait long for our food after we ordered, so it was all good. To start, 20792254 name of 20792254 place is just flat out awful. Is it a Fisher Price toy for newborns? A bucket for carrying your hops around? 20792254 name of a small village in southwestern Ireland? Nobody really knows. I tried 20792254 cheeseburger, which was tender and delicious, along with seasoned fries. Both were very good. I guess 20792254 only problem I had while eating is that I was just so confused about what Hopdoddy is that I couldn't really concentrate on what I was eating. You see, Hopdoddy is a bar..no wait..it's a restaurant! Actually, it's a BURGER BAR! (And, when I write "burger bar", you're probably thinking to yourself "hey, that sounds kinda cool and relaxing". But, it actually isn't because it's uber-modern chic with lots of exposed concrete, hard surfaces, and half 20792254 IKEA catalog decorating 20792254 place.) Also, 20792254 concept of checking in first with a server, then going to 20792254 back of 20792254 restaurant to order, then checking back in with 20792254 server again is either 20792254 most bass-ackwards or most genius idea ever. Hopdoddy is a delight. I was obsessed with this place when it first opened, eating there weekly. 20792254 ingredients are so fresh, 20792254 condiments are so tangy, 20792254 multi-grain bun is so heavenly, 20792254 fries so crispy and perfectly salted! 20792254 drink menu stumps me every time.. do I want a margarita (quite delicous), a refreshing beer in a giant, chilled glass, OR a milkshake (seriously amazing milkshakes)?? Oh 20792254 decisions! How can you not give this place 5 stars OMG 20792254 food was good. Burgers burgers and more burgers even for those who do not eat meat. I had 20792254 turkey burger with grilled mushrooms and goat cheese. My partner had 20792254 Janis Joplin which is total veg version. I have had many turkey burgers in my life and too often find them dry and tasteless. NOT SO at Hopdoddy! My burger was moist and flavorful and if it was not so darn BIG I would have had two. 20792254 veg burger was pretty good and if I had not had 20792254 turkey
