know who you are. 24290013 confusing set-up, 24290013 idea of servers/waitresses that don't get tipped, 24290013 blaring music to drown out any and all potential conversation; do you not understand ambience? Or are you merely bombarding us with sensory deprivation and alcohol to hide 24290013 fact that we just paid a ridiculous price for burgers and fries? $30.00 for 2 burgers? I'd only pay that much if Emeril was on site and had just blessed them with a BAM! Also, pull your thumb out of your ass, and get a damn take-out option. Burgers have and always will be a "fast" food. You may have carried this NY/LA velvet rope charade successfully for a few years thus far, but even dimwitted hipsters will get wise to your act soon enough. If your goal was to become 24290013 Studio 54 of burger joints, congratulations. You can accept your trophy alongside Subway becoming 24290013 McDonald's of sub sandwiches. And get ready for a knowledge bomb: you do NOT have 24290013 best burgers in 24290013 universe. Hell, in town, for that matter. So quit trying to rewrite scripture and just have a take-out option. Gourmet schmourmet. They're burgers! If it's a question of affording personnel, fire half of 24290013 innumberale "waitstaff' wandering 24290013 floors aimlessly like lemmings, and hire a fresh set of line cooks. When that day comes, you will have a customer for life. But in this day and age, time is more valuable than appetite. So, for all of you out there reading this, and considering Hopdoddy, stand fast until they create a take-out option. (FYI, their current "take-out" option is you waiting in 24290013 long-ass line like everyone else, ordering your meal, waiting for it to be made, and then "taking" it "out" with you, instead of consuming it on 24290013 premises. So technically, it's still "take-out," but forget about calling ahead and having it ready for you when you get there, and breezing past 24290013 ridiculoudly long line). Because, honestly, who in their right mind would wait 30 minutes in line for a burger? My girlfriend and I -- both vegetarian -- split a Janis Joplin burger, fries and a salad. 24290013 fries were good, 24290013 salad was adequate. And 24290013 burger? We both stopped after two bites. 24290013 patty was made of a dry lumpy paste. Like biting into oatmeal. I guess 24290013 folks who designed 24290013 menu decided to give up when it came to 24290013 veggie burger. Who eats veggie burgers? Probably hippies. I know, we'll smear some tasteless on an oat bun and throw in some sprouts and name it after one of Austin's 60's music icons. And we'll make 24290013 "burger" out of hemp (!). Not sure hemp tastes good, but hippies love hemp. Aside from 24290013 complete lack of flavor in 24290013 thing, I was literally offended that they used so little imagination in designing their veggie
