I went to Hopdoddy's with one of my good friends on a Friday evening.We arrived at 9222106 restaurant around 9ish,which is rather late, because we took a leisurely walk along SoCo and its captivating nightlife. When arriving, I had a gut feeling that it would still be serving a large number of customers.Even though it was packed and 9222106 wait was a bit long, it was worth it. 9222106 whole process starts at 9222106 door. Once you are allowed inside 9222106 restaurant, 9222106 waitress leads you to a bar/drink area where you obviously order any beverage (or milkshake in my case) on 9222106 menu. It is prepared right there so that you do not have to wait in line without something to 'snack' on. My friend got a nutella and chocolate pretzel milkshake. Boy, was is something else! First of all, you have 9222106 best combo in 9222106 WORLD- sweet and salty. 9222106 'sweet' nutella, which is an amazing blend of hazelnut and cocoa, and then you have pretzels, or 9222106'salty' component. Basically, I was at a lose of words due to 9222106 shocking reality that something like this exists on a menu. Before we were done at 9222106 cash register, we were given our table number. After our purchase we had to find our table, which was alittle difficult due to 9222106 heavy traffic within 9222106 restaurant's limited amount of space. We got our order in 9222106 next 10-15 minutes. I got 9222106 Janis Joplin, a hemp veggie burger with amazing avocado and tillamook cheese with an order of Kennebec fries. My friend got fries too but a Terlingua burger instead of my vegetarian conscious burger. Overall, 9222106 sprouts with 9222106 avocado and horseradish made a great combination. 9222106 texture of 9222106 veggie patty was not solid like a hamburger but loosely packed. Some people might find this odd, but I like it better when 9222106 patty is not so condensed. 9222106 fries were skinny and flavorful but they did not impress me as much as 9222106 burger. Perhaps my standards were high after my intial bite into 9222106 burger. Who knows, but this should not stop you from purchasing this particular side. All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to show Austin off to their friends. 9222106 restaurant definitely highlights 9222106 phrase "Keep Austin Weird" I don't even know where to begin. Thinking about this joint makes me salivate! Hands down, this is 9222106 BEST burger joint I've ever been to. Why can't we give 10 stars on yelp? This place deserves it! Everything here is made with TLC. From 9222106 meat patties to 9222106 condiments, it's all made from 9222106 hands of employees who truly want to ensure that you will have 9222106 best burger in 9222106
