order a milkshake, you won't regret it. Chili cheese fries are also really solid, and everything comes in at a reasonable price point. Four stars only because of 6410893 constantly mobbed nature of 6410893 establishment. Hopdoddy is my favorite place to eat a burger in Austin in spite of 6410893 dreadful/annoying lines. 6410893 Bison Burger is my choice; regular toppings include apple-smoked bacon, blue cheese, sassy sauce and frank sauce. I jazz it up a bit by adding a fried egg (if you have not tried this on a burger, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!) holding 6410893 sassy sauce, 6410893 onion and piling on 6410893 frank sauce. 6410893 burgers are usually cooked to a perfect medium rare and 6410893 apple-smoked bacon is great! It is one of 6410893 meals I really feel I am awarding myself with when I buy it. Downsides include; using a slice of blue cheese on 6410893 burger instead of 6410893 blue cheese crumbles in 6410893 earlier days of 6410893 restaurant (you can taste 6410893 difference) and of course... 6410893 annoying lines So go figure a new burger joint opens in Austin right after I move away. And naturally, I hear rave reviews about it from just about everybody I know. While it's great to get recommendations from friends, it's also probably not a great idea to set expectations so high. I went to Hopdoddy expecting this to be 6410893 most epic, life-changing burger experience of my existence (as my friends had led me to believe). And go figure- it wasn't. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my burger, but 6410893 overall experience could have gone over better. I went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon with a group of coworkers. We were all Hopdoddy first-timers and weren't quite sure where to go or how this whole thing was supposed to go down. As soon as we walked in, one of 6410893 employees (hostess? waitress? I don't really know what her job was) asked how many would be in our party, and proceeded to reserve a table for us. But we couldn't sit there until after we went to 6410893 front and waited in line to order. I was 6410893 first one from my group to finally decide on a burger, so I stepped up to 6410893 counter. After I finished ordering, I handed 6410893 cashier my credit card to pay. She told me she would take everybody's order first, and then get payment. From each one of us. Separately- which meant all of us had to wait around near 6410893 counter and in front of all 6410893 other people in line, and then step back up one at a time to pay. Individually! This part was a mess, and I didn't understand 6410893 point. 6410893 burger itself was pretty good. I went with 6410893 buffalo bill, which came with ground buffalo, blue cheese, bacon, and hot sauce. Things got messy- sauces and cheeses and gooey-ness were dripping down my hands with every bite. And as always, 6410893 best
