to improve 2875251 quality of bean burger by adding more beans or putting spices to put more flavor in it and make it more concrete instead of crumbling apart and flaky. Hopdoddy is something that I wouldn't go to often but if I know anyone who wants to have great burgers when they're in town, I'll probably tell them to check this place out and try their meaty burgers. Given how renowned Austin is for its food, I was hoping I would get a chance to sink my teeth into a burger worth writing home about. Hopdoddy's was it. From 2875251 moment that burger hits your table this is an experience. 2875251 burger itself is a sight to behold. 2875251 taste doesn't disappoint, this was one of 2875251 best burgers I've ever had. Everything is cooked to perfection (and they ask how you like it to be sure). 2875251 place was absolutely packed and I imagine it would always be like this. 2875251 good news is, they will serve you drinks while you wait in line. I went sometime in September 2013 and 2875251 only way I agreed to go was if that friend waited in line for me. I had 2875251 El Diablo and it was pretty decent. Was it 2875251 best burger I have had in my entire life? No. I wouldn't wait an hour for an above average burger ever. I think what you pay most with your time and money for is 2875251 atmosphere and being in 2875251 "in" crowd which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I just don't like 2875251 idea that I may die of starvation waiting in line Made it back to Hopdoddy, this time with a group of HD virgins. For mid-afternoon on Saturday of a holiday weekend, 2875251 crowd was expected. We waited in line for probably 30-40 minutes, but as soon as you make it inside, you're at 2875251 bar. My group sampled 2875251 black cherry hard lemonade, a 512 IPA, a Thirsty Goat Amber and an Austin Beer Works Pearl Snap. I had 2875251 Magic Shroom burger and it was delicious - 2875251 pesto and goat cheese were a perfect combination with 2875251 fresh Angus beef burger and field mushrooms. 2875251 Parmesan Truffle fries were tasty, but 2875251 aioli served alongside was 2875251 best part.. I could have eaten a bucket of that stuff!
Not sure I'd brave 2875251 crowd on a regular basis.. but was definitely worth 2875251 experience at least once. Straight to 2875251 food- had Llano Poblano burger w/ Avocado of course! Homemade taste, full of flavor burger; real quality ingredients wow...what a breath of
