Went to Locale last night for the first time and was not disappointed. I am a North End resident and having seen the restaurant constructed I always wanted to give it a try. From the great waitress (unfortunately I forget her name) to the excellent unique pizza offerings, I was completely satisfied. We had a sausage ricotta pizza that was enough for two and beers (pizza pic uploaded). I will definitely be returning when we want to have pizza in a sit down atmosphere. Speaking of atmosphere the place is very nice with white subway tiled walls and old wood ceiling. Not much on seating so a big party may be tough but if you want a nice place to eat great pizza, Locale is a spot to try.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee

This place was refreshing compared to your typical north end experience of waiting ridiculous amounts of time to get a table. Though based on the rising amount of raving reviews, that might not be the case anymore.

We checked this place out because it was the only place with a reasonable wait time (~15-20 mins). We ordered the baked ricotta, tartufo, and polpette. The ricotta was super good and a great start to the meal. The tartufo was great, and that's saying a lot because I hate mushrooms. The polpette was definitely my favorite though - the meat is really tasty. We also had some wine, and I was surprised they didn't card us because we were a bunch of young looking Asians.

I docked a star because of the service. Within 10 mins of waiting there was a table that opened up - it had already been cleared but not set. None of the servers were attending to it though, and after waiting another 5 mins we asked about it. They just said the servers were really busy and would set it up asap. Seriously? How long does it take to set up a table? We finally were seated after a total wait of 20 mins, which was stupid cause that open table was just sitting there unattended for half the time. Anyway, aside from that the waitress was very friendly and helpful in suggesting what to order.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
