prospect of waiting in a long line to get served tepid fries may temper that urge. And to add insult to injury, as I returned to my car on 22634217 other side of 22634217 street, I felt remorseful as 22634217 aroma of Home Slice pizza made me regret my decision to cross 22634217 street earlier for a burger when I could have opted instead for a couple of delicious slices of pizza. Ok ok calm down!! This is a very average burger place with a cool vibe. I came here expecting something epic that I've never had before, I mean 22634217 line was wrapped around this little joint! Don't get me wrong 22634217 burger wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either. This place is basically a replica of "22634217 Counter" even 22634217 burger and fries tasted 22634217 same. 22634217 price point once again was about 22634217 same as 22634217 Counter also(about $15 for burger and fries), which is a little steep for a burger IMHO. I really can't say that I will be rushing back to this place next time I'm in 22634217 ATX, I'm sure there has to be better burger joints in 22634217 city. Hopdoddy is damn right delicious. A local friend in Austin brought us here and told us it was worth 22634217 wait. We were in. We got there at lunch and there was a line. Although I don't like lines, I'm used to them because I like good food. At least they offer you ice cold water and you can order drinks while you wait in line. At 22634217 end of 22634217 line, you order your food from 22634217 counter and get seated by a waitress. Not really 22634217 typical fast food environment, but it works. Parties of 2 were seated pretty quickly and larger parties took a little longer. Everything is local and 22634217 best of what it can be. 22634217 house made sauces and pickles are fantastic. I got one of everything to try with 22634217 burger and fries. 22634217 Chipotle Ketchup was my favorite. We ordered a burger with bacon and blue jack to split, 22634217 garlic truffle fries and a couple of cherry limeades with Vodka or Gin. Everything was fantastic, but especially 22634217 burger with 22634217 fresh baked bun. So yeah, it was worth 22634217 wait. I really really enjoyed 22634217 burger and I can say I've had good burgers in my life. 22634217 drinks and 22634217 food were really good and 22634217 staff was incredibly patient given 22634217 hundreds of people who were wanting to eat lunch that day. I took my family here when they came to visit Austin. Since 22634217 lines are always super long when I pass by, I never tried it before. However, I took them during non-peak hours and did not have to wait in line at all. 22634217
