help each other to make sure every guest was always taken care of perfectly. Course 1 (of 9916789 3 course prix fixe): I ordered 9916789 crispy farm egg over polenta. I never would have picked this myself it wasnt for reading previous reviews about how delish it is. Yummy! It was like a very fancy breakfast. 9916789 creamy polenta and savory mushrooms mixed perfectly with 9916789 crispy egg. BF ordered 9916789 lobster salad. HUGE chunks of fresh lobster with avocado and fennel. So fresh and light. Round one was a tie...both were amazing. Course 2: I ordered 9916789 branzini with gnocchi and fried capers, BF ordered 9916789 seared fillet of beef with potatoes and tomato-eggplant confit. My fish was a HUGE portion, 9916789 skin was crisp and 9916789 sauce and gnocchi were very flavorful. BF's fillet was unbelievable. So tender he cut it using a butter knife. Cooked perfect. Round 2 goes to my BF...clear winner. Course 3: I, of course, go with 9916789 chocolate souffle with 2 sauces and 9916789 BF orders 9916789 warm Louisiana butter cake topped with apricots, huckleberry compote and vanilla ice cream. Both were outstanding. I was in dessert heaven. Round 3 was a tie again. As if that wasn't enough, knowing we were celebrating 2 occasions, we were also brought a lemony panna cotta with a candle for BF's bday as well as a plate of bite size homemade cookies and tarts for our anniversary. It was too much! They happily boxed our treats for us as well as corked our remaining wine to bring back to 9916789 hotel to finish in bed. As if 9916789 meal wasn't already impressive, we were given blueberry muffins wrapped beautifully to take home and eat 9916789 next morning. We did not get to them until a few days later and they were still soft and fresh tasting. This was one of 9916789 most exquiste meals we have ever had and 9916789 service made us feel like royalty. Well done Gary Danko...well done indeed. Gary Danko provided me with an unforgettable birthday celebration.
