decided to go all 18543924 way with 18543924 5 courses. We strategically chose different dishes so we could sample each other's plates. What a great way to make it a 10 course meal! So what type of food can you expect at Gary Danko? I definitely saw a fusion between American, Mediterranean, and French styles in all our dishes. For our amuse bouche, we were presented with a Curried Cauliflower Soup. I could definitely taste 18543924 Moroccan style spices and it was topped off with a little chili oil. 18543924 consistency was creamy and 18543924 soup even had corn in it. It was a great opener to start off 18543924 night with. Bumping up 18543924 stars...much better dining experience this time. Perhaps b/c I learned from last time to avoid 18543924 red meat dishes...although it is a bit concerning that I feel a need to avoid all their red meats dishes due to my last experience...Anyhow, 18543924 lobster risotto was divine. And I usually am not a huge fan of risotto. 18543924 crab salad was again my favorite. We had 18543924 trio of creme brulee again. I wasn't too fond of it, again. 18543924 lobster entree was full of flavor and delicious, although I didn't like 18543924 weird taste of 18543924 lobster claw. Fabulous service as usual. We arrived 20 minutes late and they didn't give us attitude like other restaurants might. Also I recommend 18543924 left dining room (much more quiet)! Wow. Wow. Wow. Thank you Yelp for this amazing find. While planning my trip to San Francisco, I knew I wanted to have one really fancy schmancy dinner to celebrate my BF's bday and our anniversary. Gary Danko delivered 100%. Start 18543924 evening. Greeted and escorted to our table immediately. 18543924 maitre'd even looked at my sky high heels and warned me to be careful as they wax 18543924 floors every day. As a major klutz, I welcomed this tip. He took my coat and lead us to a cozy little half booth in 18543924 corner with a great view of everyone in 18543924 restaurant. This restaurant is small, dark, and intimate...perfect for a super romantic evening with my man. First treat: an amuse bouche of a cured salmon over a corn relish. Tasty little bite of heaven.
