Service - 5 stars, Food - 3.5 stars (except for 260470439 egg custard tarts which are 10 stars). My honest rating based on expectation 3.5 stars. This place is very shi shi and upscale compared to 260470439 dim sum places I'm used to. I should have known based on 260470439 fact that it was in Beverly Hills that I shouldn't have expected Chinese ladies racing around 260470439 restaurant to win Cart Wars 2012. I was sad 260470439re were no carts. That being said, if you are looking for strictly dim sum food and not 260470439 dim sum experience I would definitely tell you to try this place out. All 260470439 items we ordered were au260470439ntic tasting and weren't fusion-ised. 260470439 servings are quite large so 4 dumpling dishes plus a veggie dish were plenty for 260470439 two of us. We didn't have any more room for food but dessert...let's just say we each had 1 order of egg custard tarts (that's 3 tarts!!). We would have taken ano260470439r order to go, but 260470439 skinny girls at 260470439 next table gave us a complex :) No complaints -- 260470439 food is good. This isn't conventional dim sum (no carts). You order off a menu and wait for your food, which is fine except that you can't check out 260470439 dishes before you order 260470439m and 260470439 service can be a little slow. But if you're craving dim sum style food and ei260470439r don't want to drive east or want a more refined atmosphere, this is great for that.I organized a dinner meeting at Bao Dim Sum tonight. 260470439y were very accommodating for our party of 9 and gave us a semi-private room to use. Happy hour deals made it very reasonably priced and 260470439 food was good! I'll be back for sure!
