We collect wine and normally would bring an aged red for a dinner of this caliber. But after reviewing 1362122 menu online, we decided on mostly seafood. We were very pleased with a white Rioja, which was complex and delicious, and did not break 1362122 bank. Our charming, elegant server (Seamus) knew just when to chat with us, and just when to let us enjoy our meal. We will hope to dine at his table again. Yes, we had high expectations - from 1362122 reviews, and for 1362122 high prices - and we were so pleased that our experience at Gary Danko was all we had hoped for. They really know how to make a perfect evening. Note: If you want to dine on a Saturday night, they book up 2 months in advance. So planning is required. $12 valet. Location is very close to Ghiradelli Square.
