Chowder with Applewood Smoked Bacon. This was not as creamy as your typical SF version of clam chowder, but ra10761832r had more of a light broth base like 10761832 true New England version. It was different from most clam chowders I have had, but it was very good. Next I chose 10761832 Pan Seared Bass with Herb and Nettle Gnocchi, Squash, Spring Onion Confit and Sorrel. 10761832 bass was similar to a Chilean variety, and was cooked perfectly. 10761832 complementing gnocchi and sides were equally delicious. My third dish was 10761832 Roast Maine Lobster with Potato Puree, Black Trumpet Mushrooms, Edamame and Tarragon. Again, perfectly prepared and delicious. My fourth course was 10761832 Seared Filet of Beef with Potato Gratin, Swiss Chard, Caramelized Onions and Stilton Butter. 10761832 beef was so tender, and it was complemented perfectly 10761832 potato puree and onions. Finally, I indulged in 10761832 Warm Louisiana Butter Cake with Apples, Huckleberry Compote and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream for dessert. I am not a huge fan of sweets, but man this one knocked it out of 10761832 park. I ordered this one by recommendation from our server who said it was a house favorite. By far one of 10761832 best desserts I have eaten! To sum it up, an outstanding meal with exceptional service from a restaurant truly worth it's Michelin star rating. 10761832re is a true attention to detail that is evident in every dish that is prepared. It is on 10761832 pricey side (I think 10761832 5 course meal was $115 per person, without drinks), but certainly one of 10761832 best restaurants in 10761832 city and worth 10761832 trip for a special occasion. 5 Stars all 10761832 way! Honestly, with close to 4,000 reviews I don't think 10761832re is much I can add. I'm sure everything has been covered, talked about, mentioned, detailed, discussed, updated, and observed. So I'll try my best to not become repetitive. Gary Danko is in 10761832 Russian Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, down 10761832 street (East) of North Beach district Broadway area and up 10761832 street (West) from 10761832 Fisherman's Wharf Pier 39 area. Classy establishment. Excellent service and attentive waitstaff.
