However, after 4 tries, I have to say that I found 18295381 food quality to be going down hill a bit. 18295381re was even a dish I didn't want to eat more than 3 bites of because it was a bit "gamey" and made me feel slightly sick (and it was beef! Lamb is gamey, but beef shouldn't be) 18295381 service is impeccable. 18295381 staff is friendly and knowledgeable about 18295381 menu. Of course, I never have room for dessert but appreciate 18295381 petit fours, single red rose, and chocolate brownie cake to go. After emailing 18295381 manager, I get a call back from 18295381ir guest service manager, Steven, to follow up on my review and to see if 18295381y can compensate 18295381 disappointing experience we had to my satisfaction. He apologized and explained how 18295381ir system works and that 18295381 captain has been notified and spoken to by 18295381 GM and boss. Also he said 18295381re was a miscommunication in making 18295381 reservation...that my husband did not mention it was a celebration for our marriage ceremony. Regardless an anniversary, wedding, birthday or just a night to dine in one of 18295381 highly rated restaurants in SF, service should not differ based on 18295381 occassion. Honestly, I expected 18295381m to invite us back to makeup for ruinning our special night but instead he just apologized many times. He 18295381n offered to refund 18295381 tip we left and said we should not tip if service did not satisfy us. Well, thanks Gary Danko for 18295381 bad experience. This is my first and will be my last to dine in. I was excited for 18295381 opportunity to eat at Gary Danko. Ultimately, I left feeling disappointed with my experience.
