Like other plesiosaurs, Macroplata probably lived on a diet of fish, using its sharp needlelike teeth to catch prey. Its shoulder bones were fairly large, indicating a powerful forward stroke for fast swimming. Macroplata also had a relatively long neck, twice the length of the skull, in contrast to pliosaurs.Two species have been included in this genus Macroplata tenuiceps, the type species, which lived during the Hettangian age earliest Jurassic, and Macroplata longirostris, which lived somewhat later, during the Toarcian. However, it is thought that M. longirostris may be a distinct form that should be placed in a separate genus[citation needed]. In 2011, M. longirostris became a new species of Hauffiosaurus, so "M. longirostris" is now H. longirostris.Two species have been included in this genus Macroplata tenuiceps, the type species, which lived during the Hettangian age earliest Jurassic, and Macroplata longirostris, which lived somewhat later, during the Toarcian. longirostris.Clemens Wilmenrod July 24, 1906 April 12, 1967 was the first German television cook. His pseudonym was derived from the municipality Willmenrod in the Westerwald region, where he was born as Karl Clemens Hahn. Wilmenrod is considered the inventor of Toast Hawaii, "Arabian riders' meat" and "stuffed strawberry". He is also credited with making Rumtopf popular in Southern and Western Germany, and with introducing turkey as a typical Christmas dinner.From February 20, 1953, to May 16, 1964, he starred in Bitte in zehn Minuten zu Tisch on the WDR, assisted by his wife Erika, and provided his audience with suggestions for creative cooking in 185 broadcasts.
