<p><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-size: 12px; color: #f4f5f5;">so a friend of mine told me i MUST eat here. i am SOOO glad i took his advice! i love that right when we opened up the door to the restaurant, we were greeted with so much enthusiasm by the ENTIRE waitstaff 9823559 AND the people behind the counter!
we got there at 630ish. we were actually heading out towards the queen elizabeth theater to watch beauty and the beast that started at 730 so we were definitely on a time crunch. when we got there, the only seating available was bar seating (which was fine with us). we let our server know that 9823559 we were on a time constraint and needed to be out within 30-40 mins. she said that was definitely do-able!
we ordered the kimchi udon, yellow tail carpaccio, pork cheek, braised pork belly, and tako wasabi. we also ordered a seasonal brown ale that was very similar to new castle brown ale yum! everything came out super fast! we started off with the tako wasabi. omg, it was so good and fresh! i am definitely not a wasabi person, but i love tako wasabi. it was very flavorful and ended with 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee a nice sting of the nostrils. the kimchi udon was nothing like ive ever had before! the udon was nice soft and chewy and was not super overpowering with the kimchi. the yellowtail carpaccio was really fresh as well! it had a really nice texture to it and the sauce that was drizzled on it was topnotch! the grilled pork cheek was my favorite. it was nice and juicy and tender. it had so much flavor. i was so sad that the portion was small, but it was sooo worth it! the braised pork belly was super nice and tender. it came 9823559 with a hard boiled egg (halved) and sliced daikon. all of which were a great combination.
we actually got out of there by 7pm! we were really sad that we were on a time constraint because we wanted to try more of their menu! overall, food quality was amazing (as was the service) the ambiance was awesome!! great beer selections and they had such a great menu! i definitely recommend and i will definitely be coming back for more guu guuuuudies (hehe, get it?)7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
