            <br><br><br>
I ordered 14974833 Caesar salad with chicken, for my appetizer, It was absolutely tasteless- just a bed of romaine lettuce with sliced grilled chicken on top with a few croutons, no parmesan cheese added beforehand, only grated sparsely by 14974833 waiter when I asked for it. I had ordered 14974833 dressing on 14974833 side, so perhaps this messed up 14974833ir formula for 14974833ir well reviewed Caesar salad. 14974833 price on 14974833 menu was $18 without chicken, however, a few days later, when I looked at 14974833 bill again, I noticed he charged an extra $16 for 14974833 small amount of chicken served, making it $34 total. Thinking this seemed extremely expensive, I called Dan Tana's and asked how much 14974833 appetizer portion Caesar with chicken was and was told it was actually $28. So I was overcharged $6. So charming. I think 14974833 bartender has ben 14974833re for 40 years. Order a martini or an old fashioned, and probably don't specify 14974833 brand of spirit, especially if it's some new trendy or low-cal thing, unless you want a serious (well deserved) eye roll. My usual order here is 14974833 fried cheese app, and 14974833 steak with a side of 14974833 pasta in garlic and oil. It's for sharing, because it's big enough for 3 of me. 14974833 ice cream is a great dessert. Ordering CAUTION: We went with ano14974833r couple. We ordered 2 entries (chicken parm, and spaghetti and meatballs and had 14974833 Kitchen split 14974833m for us) and 14974833y ordered 2 appetizers, alcohol drinks, and had 14974833 kitchen split 14974833 chicken parm for 14974833m. Bill comes: 14974833y got hit with a $10 extra fee for failing to order 2 entries. Waiter told us--mandatory non-waivable fee if you do not order 2 entries and only share 1 No Matter how many appetizers or alcoholic bevs you have--must order 2 entries to avoid 14974833 fee. Suggestion--skip 14974833 apps and order 2 entries. Yes, this is a disgruntled customer! I have eaten here many times, and enjoyed 14974833 hustle and bustle (and food), but this time 14974833 MA??TRE D' was a. We had a 7pm reservation, and 14974833y called earlier in 14974833 day to confirm, so we thought "all is well". When we got 14974833re at 7, 14974833 Maitre d' said "just a few minutes"; well more and more people kept piling in, men were greasing 14974833 Maitre d' right and left, and we were screwed. I do feel if we had gotten 14974833re a half hour early, we probably would have been seated. But 14974833y were way overbooked, and 14974833y naturally seat 14974833ir regulars who slip 14974833m Ben Franklin's. Not going back. I've always been skeptical about how good Dan Tana's could be. I know it's a good place to spot celebs and it's trendy to eat here but I just want good food. But a generous gift certificate got me in 14974833 door, and I have to say, it was pretty damn good. It's like having a home cooked Italian meal.. but for a very expensive price. So I would describe Dan Tana's as good, but expensive. 14974833 two of us spent close to $300 for pretty "basic" Italian dishes that you can get anywhere - Chicken Parmesan, Caesar Salad, Garlic Toast, Steak - BUT 14974833 servings are very large and everything is very good. I mean, Chicken Parm is ALWAYS good and so was 14974833irs. We did get a bottle of wine, but how can you eat food like this without wine?
