<p><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-size: 12px; color: #f4f5f5;">I searched for restaurants in walking distance from Hilton Garden Inn I stayed at, and Neopol Savory Smokery showed up 20090177 with 5 whopping stars. I've actually never seen a five star rating on any restaurant with more than a dozen or so reviews. I was a bit skeptical, but I figured I'd give it a try.
The walk was about 15 minutes from Hilton Garden Inn, and it was at night. I've never seen alleys since I'm from NY. There were quite a number of alleys and it looked more and more like an industrial shipping district 20090177 as I approached the destination. Soon I realized this wasn't a restaurant, but a small eatery located in this huge warehouse looking building that had a sign that read 'Union Market'. Within it, there were a ton of tiny shops, and Neopol Savory Smokery was one of them.
My wife and I tried Smoked Salmon BLT on flax seed bread, since it was heavily recommended among other reviewers. We didn't 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee actually eat it until we got back to the hotel, but once we did, we talked about it for a while, and we couldn't wait till we get to try it again!
So we did. As soon we woke up next morning, we went back and got another Salmon BLT and Hummus and Apple Sandwich. They were both amazing. Maybe even better this time, since it was warmer. We still couldn't 20090177 get over the fact how good it was, and we were worried it would look weird that we go back for another. I mean, we were only staying in DC for three days, and we've hit the same eatery twice. Never have we done that before.
Next morning, before I left for NY, we shamefully drove up to Neopol Savory Smokery, and we got two more Smoked Salmon BLT. I can't believe 20090177 we ate at same eatery three times over three days of stay.
Now that I'm back in NY, I still can't get over how good the Salmon BLT is, and as sad as it sounds, my wife and I are thinking of making another trip to DC JUST to eat here.
Seriously, get Salmon BLT on flax seed bread. You won't regret it.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
