I literally just got home from eating here with two friends of mine. We wanted to try something new, so while looking 17277519 for something in the area I stumbled upon The Honor Bar. We were not disappointed!

For starters, the staff were super friendly and the interior was perfect. Great amount of ambient lighting overall, with individual lamps at each table. We sat at a table along the wall (not sure if there were larger tables), and it fit the 3 of us comfortably. I wouldn't come here with a group larger than that. We were greeted by our waiter very quickly, who was friendly without being over the top. 17277519 A few other patrons told us that Ding's Crispy Chicken Sandwich was the BEST, so we all ended up getting it, as well as sharing an order of fries. I also ordered an Old Fashioned. We waited almost no time for our food, which was amazing, and my drink arrived right with our sandwiches.

The sandwiches were huge, three big sections of sandwich on each plate. I'm going to guess that the bun was a brioche, which was great for this sandwich. Held together well, had great sweet flavor to go along with the spices of the sauce and the breading of the chicken, and had a lovely flakey texture. 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee The chicken itself was perfectly breaded, nice and crispy, not at all dry, and made with awesome seasoning. The kale was very crisp and fresh, and has a light mustard vinaigrette. Normally I'd feel that $13 would be a bit much for a sandwich that didn't come with any sides, but the sandwiches here are so big, it's really a great price.

I want to guess that the fries were cooked in truffle oil, and they were tossed in a nice mixture of seasonings- I could have easily eaten the entire serving myself, haha! It came with ketchup and what we guessed 17277519 to be a herb hollandaise? We also tasted a bit of sesame oil in it as well. Either way, it was delicious!

My Old Fashioned was great, although a little bit sweeter than I'm used to. Definitely a pricey drink, costing as much as my sandwich. I doubt I'll be ordering drinks here again, unless it's a more special night and I want to treat myself.
We will definitely be coming back! I can't wait to try the Suburban Tuna Sandwich and some of the other appetizers.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
