My friend first took me here for my 9821636 birthday knowing I was vegetarian. I never actually considered going raw or vegan seriously before eating here. Once, I saw how good food could be under this guise that is actually delicious, my mind started to reconsider. <p><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-size: 12px; color: #f4f5f5;">I don't normally venture out to this area, but sometimes I just have to tell myself I'm not in Kansas anymore and go explore. I was craving vegan food and I've had this on my bookmark since forever so I finally decided to go out and get some food! This is an amazing location (street parking unless you 9821636 want to valet), and there is a small patio that makes you feel away from the grime and dirt of the city. We opted to sit outside, though the interior looked very nice and homey as well. Everything on the menu looked amazing, but since we only have 1 stomach and not 4, we got:
Sun nachos: I love that they came with jicama chips as the raw option, and though we got half-half, the jicama was our fave. Loaded with tons of toppings and goodies, we never got tired of the flavors! You definitely 9821636 will not miss meat when eating this dish.
Kale colossus: Another great colossal (har har) dish. The dressing was light and added just enough to compliment the wonderful massaged texture of kale. This is a great choice for salad for the dressing and texture 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee alone. The random 4 pieces of banana on the plate was a strange contrast to the salad though.
Beet noodle pesto: We got this because my friend saw the word "garlic" somewhere, though we didn't taste it. The pesto, however, was amazingly fragrant and absolutely delightful. I do suggest waiting a wee bit for the noodles to soften before digging in, or beet strands and pesto will be flying all 9821636 over your face and table--not a date food. Also, compared to the salad and nachos, it was bland at first, until I got used to it and really focuses on tasting the natural flavors of the pesto. Overall, I liked it, though my friend still thought it needed salt.
Chocolate cookie dough cheesecake: After hearing that name, who WOULDN'T want to get this? My favorite part of the whole meal and worth every penny! The top was chocolatey and smooth, and the bottom was 9821636 a nutty-coconutty-concoction that was good too, but I'd add some espresso beans to the mix to really make it pop. Seriously, you need to get this!!
The only downside would be that it took us a very long time to get all our orders (we had to refill our metered parking twice)--about 30 minutes for our appetizer/entree, longer for dessert, and even for the check!7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
