During a long weekend getaway, 7142670 I ended up coming here three times! Hard to pass up the udon here, so yummy and so cheap. It's a cafeteria-style set-up. As you walk through you can see them preparing the noodles. The menu is pretty simple. You choose one of the hot or cold udon soups or salads, add some tempura and/or musubi and then pay the cashier before finding a seat. The line can be long but it moves quickly. I came once for an early dinner and then twice for breakfast shortly after they opened so I avoided waiting.
I've tried their basic KAKE UDON (udon with traditional broth) and NIKU UDON (udon with traditional broth, topped with sweet beef and caramelized onions). The noodles are delightfully chewy and the broth is light and 7142670 flavorful. I've also had the SHRIMP TEMPURA, SPAM MUSUBI and SALMON MUSUBI. The spam musubi here is especially good with their housemade sweet sauce.
