Short of it: Good, solid barbecue. Great sandwiches. Okay fries and sides. Prices and service could be better. Where's the sauce?

Long of it: We went here for restaurant week. 6836531 Overall, it was a good experience, but I do have similar beefs as others (couldn't help the pun). We had the competition plate, cheese fondue, salads, No Jackin around sandwich, Pitmaster sandwich, apple crisp, and chess pie.

Non-Beefs:
- Their meat is good. Not my favorite in town, but solid and good.
- It's nice to have another bbq joint in town.
- The atmosphere is industrial modern. 6836531 It's hip for bbq...it's a place you could take someone for a bbq date and not look too cheap or trashy.
- Their potato salad was damn good.
- Their house made Chipotle sausage had kick and was tasty.
- Their creamy house salad dressing was awesome. I would drink it if it wouldn't cause a heart attack.
- Apple crisp was tasty.
- Their stand alone meats didn't knock my 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee socks off (or knock my ##J loyalty off), BUT their sandwiches did. I've never loved bbq sandwiches at other places--find them kind of disappointing--but Q39 nails it here. Their Pitmaster sandwich was delicious, and I will come back to try more like it. They seem to have good lunch specials on sandwiches, so I would happily come back for that too.

Beef #1 is service. First, once seated, our service was pretty poor. The caveats to this are that it was packed, it was restaurant week, 6836531 our waitress was pretty busy, etc., but even the basics were kind of off. It made us wonder if she was new to the game. For example, we were seated for a long time before we were helped. Once helped, we ordered a round of drinks, and some people's beverages were forgotten for 10+ minutes until we reminded her. During the meal, we had refills maybe once, and were asked about "another round" so late in the game that it was pointless. We also had an awkward bit where the waitress brought our checks, but we still hadn't been served our desserts. With prompting, she recognized the error and apologized, but she still left us with the checks. It was strange and a little off.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
