<p><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-size: 12px; color: #f4f5f5;">I have been meaning to check out Home Sweet Home for a while, and it sweetened the deal when they were voted 42nd best 7478953 restaurant in the UK by Yelp reviews, the only restaurant from Manchester to make the list, and one of the few places outside of London to make the list. I had high expectations.
I phoned up the restaurant originally and they told me about their gluten free options, the waitress who I spoke to appeared 7478953 to be very knowledgable and she told me they now have a separate frier and have gluten free bread, brioch buns for burgers etc.
I was upset to find they only served the lunch menu after 12pm, so I was stuck with breakfast.
I had to wait a good 20-25 minutes for a table, 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee as this is a really small place but it is really busy, with people queueing out of the door hence because it is a small cramped space, with the counter taking a lot of the room it is noisier than a larger place would be with this amount of people, it is quite a noisy place with music playing quite loudly too and so many people being crammed into such a small area.
When I was sat, because it was so busy, the waitress didn't sit me down and ask me what drink I wanted, or recommend anything, 7478953 she just dashed to get away from me, like I have not wore deodorant. Luckily a nice man, came over and gave me the allergy book and got me a Flat White.
I was confused that my Flat White taken so long to come to me, and the server even asked me what food I would want, a good 5-10 minutes after serving me for the drinks I didn't receive. I ordered a Full Breakfast, with 7478953 the allergy book saying all Breakfasts are gluten free.
I was furious to find out, that the sausage and black pudding contained gluten, which the server only checked for me, because I was quite adamant for him to check. If I was less cautious and believed the book, I would of been very very ill. He kind of insisted that I still ordered it, with more egg and beans etc and didn't offer me the chance to change it, but I stuck with it.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
