<p><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-size: 12px; color: #f4f5f5;">A friend and I came in here one random night since we were in the area and wanted to see what all of the hoopla was all about. Upon entering, we were told to sign in on the waiting list and that it would be a relatively 17613041 short wait. After around 30 minutes, we were still waiting, and by this time there were open tables and nobody else waiting for a seat. We had to sit there like bumps on a log for another 20 minutes for I-don't-know-what, but eventually we were seated.
Figuring the worst was over, we eagerly awaited the Anjin experience that everyone was raving about!
Five minutes. Ten minutes. Fifteen minutes. 17613041 Twenty minutes. Nobody ever came to our table. Nice! Finally some confused idiot comes and asks if we want some water or something. I said yes, and also ordered a beer to go with my water.
Five minutes. Ten minutes. Fifteen minutes. Nothing arrives. I stare a death stare at the host, and when he makes eye contact he decides to move to another spot where he can't see me. Nice!
Finally some waitress comes by. By this time 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee another party that was seated after we were was getting their bill and was getting ready to leave. Nice!
I attempted to order in Japanese figuring maybe that would drum up some good rapport and get some better service. Big mistake since these people aren't Japanese and don't speak it. Nice!
We order and the food never comes. Well, never is a long time so maybe I am lying.
Five minutes, Ten minutes, Fifteen minutes, 17613041 Twenty minutes. Isn't this RAW food that they are bringing out to us so we can cook it ourselves?????? The food came out eventually, but I was beyond annoyed and wasn't even so eager to eat anymore. Nice!
Of course our intention was to order a first round, then decide on what to get for a second round. I'm sure you know where this is going by now. I'll just cut to the "Nice!"
So after maybe 20 minutes I give up and just ask for the bill, which also doesn't come for an eternity.
Was the food any good? I don't remember, but I also had to cook it myself so at least that part didn't get screwed up as I'm sure it would have.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
