What is nice about this place is the ability 3232706 to order and try a lot of things at once. Their meat selection has been hit or miss for me, but never terrible. For example, the first time I came here I ordered the rotisserie chicken, which was super juicy and flavorful, however the last time we went, my chicken was a tad bit dry and seasonless.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee

In this case, the food and the service were both 5 star worthy. 3232706 I say "service" but what I mean is the dude (owner?) in the tiny window who was just a lovely man.
This was a first for me -- first time eating indo-chinese food, first time having chicken lollypops, first time drinking champagne in a convenience store. What? It was after noon. (BTW, that isn't legal so don't do it. 3232706 The nice lady behind the counter let us get away with it because we were the only ones there)
I've got to assume our chef and order taker is the owner. He's just about the nicest human ever. I don't think its an act either. 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee He was kind, friendly, clarified the items on the menu and made great recommendations. We ended up with too much food (surprise!) especially since you can make one dish last for multiple meals. Apparently he's been approached by investors who want to tamper with his model of "lots of food, low prices" but he's conscious that people come into his place and feed themselves for days. So he'll keep on doing what he's doing. Nice guy? Oh yeah.
The chicken lollypops look exactly like what you think and are bright red from 14 hours of marinating (not red food dye.) If you're weird about meat on a bone, this probably isn't going to be your favorite. I believe the Chicken 3232706 65 is a boneless option. I had the shwarma which is a twist on what I've had previously. The chicken is super moist and is all mixed up with green beans and peas. Yep. You read that right. Also, I dont know what that dude is doing to the naan but it is amazing. Unlike any I've had before.
My friends' both had fried rice. That chile rice is going to blow you up. It's hot as hell and really addicting. We kept eating it despite the liquids that started pouring out of us. The garlic would be best for those that are spice-averse but don't feel gipped -- it's still super tasty.
I will absolutely do this again. I selfishly do want him to open a larger shop because I have a feeling it was a total fluke that no one was in there that day. In the meantime, I'll trek up to Braker and continue supporting this cool little local biz.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
